Probus
clubs aim to provide fellowship, social outings and a wide range of activities.
Monthly meetings are held where members are informed on a variety of topics
by special guest speakers. Above all we aim to be a relaxed and friendly group:

* Make new friends
* Hear interesting guest speakers
* Participate in a variety
of outings, golf, bowls, computer users
etc.
The Probus
Club of Mitcham Nunawading Inc , a mixed gender club, was formed in March
2015 through an amalgamation of two older established clubs. The Probus Club
of Nunawading, a men's club was inaugurated in 1985 and the Probus Club of
Mitcham, formed in 1986 as a men's club and in 2008 they became a mixed gender
club. Our current membership is approximately 75 and our annual subscription
is $35.00.
You may
be asked to assist with the management of the Club at some stage and you would
be welcome to promote new activities with Club members if you have a particular
interest.
We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 9.30am at The Whitehorse Civic Centre in the Willis Room. A brief formal meeting is held to keep members informed of club issues, followed by morning tea which provides a good opportunity to socialise and make new friends. A guest speaker follows and we formally close by 12.00pm. Members are invited to attend one of our local venues for a seniors lunch.
