The photography club held its final get together for the year in late November, where we critiqued the photographs we took at Healesville Sanctuary, and photos with the theme ”transport” which members had taken in their own time. Unfortunately we only had three members present; however, it was a productive morning.

We also spent some time learning how to edit photos by some simple cropping; it is surprising how you can dramatically change the character of a photo when you edit it. Two examples are shown below.

The photography club will have a break over summer, and we will re-convene in late February 2020. The next photo shoot will be at Williamstown on Monday, February 24, 2020. There are lots of different themes, ranging from seascapes, old and new architecture, boats and ships, wildlife, and the beach. I will advertise more details re times and meeting place early in 2020.
